Ax-check: Platform for Evaluating Developer Agent Onboarding Experience
Problem
Ax-check aims to help developers quickly evaluate how coding agents onboard to a product, yet users report several concrete pain points: improper redirect handling, requirement of a full domain instead of a subdirectory, lack of publicly available agent scripts, and login walls blocking autonomous onboarding.
Pain points
- Redirect handling issues (non‑www hostname not responded)
- Requirement of full domain instead of subdirectory
- No public agent scripts available for replication
- Login wall blocks autonomous onboarding
Questions to verify
- Can the tool support testing only a directory path?
- Are the agent scripts publicly available?
- How is login authentication handled without interactive interaction?

Does it follow redirects? My non-www hostname redirects to the www hostname, but ax-check.com says it gets no response back. Any reason it can't take the hostname as-is instead of stripping off the www?

Integrating live bots to demonstrate live visitor experiences is a nice touch. I got an unexpected blocker (`Default Python urllib User-Agent gets 403'd by anc.dev`) I am not able to reproduce yet. Can you expose the scripts that the agents generate?

I tried testing my site syncwith.com and it says its blocked, but its not clear to me why, any ideas? I tested with Claude and it doesn't find any issues like this.
